Barack Obama's Speech

The following link will take you to a page with a direct transcript of Barack Obama's speech at the 2004 Democratic Convention: Barrack Obama's Speech. A good speech for this raising star.

Barack Obama

A very interesting article titled "Obama delivers stirring speech" on Barack Obama recent speech at the democratic convention is posted on Black America Today. After seeing Obama’s speech for myself, it is clear that Obama is truly a raising star in the Democratic party. Obama, the offspring of a Caucasian woman from Kansas and her African husband, gave a speech that was so stirring, inspiring, and encouraging that many political pundits speculate that he could possibly be the first black vice president. Some even dare to say that he could be America’s first African-American president. A tall order for this previously unknown Senate hopeful, but as Obama himself stated America is a land where even a skinny kid with a funny name can believe that he has a place.

Michelle Malkin on Hardball

Recently Michelle Malkin, a syndicated columnist of Filipino descent, appeared on Chris MattewsHardBall. Malkin, who some internet users refer to as a crypto-fascist, had original agreed to come on Mathews’ show to discuss her new book “In Defense of Internment: The Case for Racial Profiling in World War II and the War on Terror”. Needless to say, Malkin did not appear too bright after a round with the heavyweight Chris Matthew. It seems Chris Matthews, as usually, did not have his kid gloves on for Malkin whom he hammered pretty roughly. You can read Malkin’s response to her “match” with Mattews at the following link: www.michellemalkin.com. Look for the BLOG post titled “AMBUSH JOURNALISM...OR MY EVENING WITH CAVEMAN CHRIS MATTHEWS”. A very interesting and informative post that gives the reader a glimpse into the mind of someone like Malkin when they have had their pride wounded.
